The Law in Other Australian States and Territories

Prostitution is subject to different legislation in different states of Australia. In some instances, States regulate prostitution in the same way as Queensland, notably Victoria, whereas in other States prostitution remains completely illegal.

Contact the relevant Police Service or sex worker organisation in each State and Territory to find out more about the prostitution laws in their jurisdiction.
